What a great post Jonathan! I loved reading this.

I used to be distracted when I went to church. I loved the music and singing with all my heart. I loved hugging every single person there. I loved talking about God. Then one day a friend told me about how he loves to go and meet the Lord Himself and worship at His very throne and I was stabbed with the feeling of how I was completely missing out at church, because even though the things I loved about church are good things, I was allowing myself to be distracted from the most important thing! I had forgotten to come into my Lord's very presence, speak directly to Him, listen to Him, confess my sin before Him and my brethren, worship His glorious beautiful magnificence while singing or while praying, and all the while doing so next to my brothers and sisters, so that together we make a glorious and joyful noise before Him. I'm not worried about being too charismatic or pouring myself out before the Lord (as long as it's edifying to others and not being too distracting). I'm not worried about how I look, or if I'm on my knees while others are standing or if I'm standing with my arms stretched out while others are sitting, because it's just an outward expression of what's going on inside me as I worship the Most High and Living God. In Heaven, we will all worship God and confess His Lordship together, in one accord, and at the top of our spiritual lungs, and there won't be any embarrassment or apology for the way I look as I pour out everything i have before our God, who is worthy of everything I could ever offer to Him.

I can't wait til we all go to Heaven to worship and glorify Him together.

I'm not saying we should yell at the world because I don't think that does any good. I just think we become hardened to it because we don't want to be hurt, and that's not good.

I feel pain. I guess I just don't show emotion. I can completley relate to "pain". After watching a movie called Time Changer I realized how much more we willingly sin and just blow it off. How can Christians just be okay with that. I am not one to stand up and yell it to the world either but people know they are offending me just by the expression on my face. I am an unconfrontational person. I like to hear others oppions but just because I hear what you are saying doesnt mean I agree or will change my mind, but I am not going to argue and fight with someone who doesn't believe.
